Filling Pores On The Lathe

 

Using GluBoost Fill n Finish to fill the pores of open grain wood on faceplate turnings, like bowls, plates, and turned boxes.

 

Once the wood is sanded smooth, apply Fill n Finish Pro Formula either directly to the wood or to an application pad with the lathe at its slowest speed. Spread it evenly, then cure it with two quick sprays of GluDry. On very porous woods you might want to do a second application, but this time, repeat the process using Fill n Finish Thin instead of the thicker Pro Formula.
