Spindle Finishing (On The Lathe)

Finishing spindles or other between center turnings right on the lathe using GluBoost Fill n Finish.

Once the piece is sanded smooth, apply Fill n Finish Thin either directly to the wood or onto an application pad either with the wood still, or while the lathe is running at its slowest speed. Spread the Fill n Finish until it is very smooth, then cure it with two light sprays of GluDry.

Want a thicker or glossier finish? Repeat the same process for a second (or third) coat. Once it is sprayed and cured, you can buff it to high gloss by sanding up through ultra-fine papers, then buffing with rubbing or polishing compound.
