Decorative Bowl And Platter Finishing

Using GluBoost Fill n Finish as a complete finish on faceplate turnings, like bowls, plates, and turned boxes or vessels.

After your final sanding, apply Fill n Finish Thin either directly to the wood or to an application pad, and spread it evenly while the lathe is running at its slowest speed. When it’s smooth, cure it with two light sprays of GluDry. If you want a thicker finish, or a buffed gloss finish, apply a second (or third) coat the same way, again curing it with GluDry. Once the finish is to your liking, you can buff it to gloss by sanding through the grits to ultra-fine paper, then buffing with a pad loaded with rubbing or polishing compound.
